Write dark fiction. Treat real people carefully.
NightTales is built for horror, unsettling fiction, experimentation, and strange ideas. Fictional fear is welcome. Harassment, targeted abuse, doxxing, credible threats, exploitation, or attempts to direct harm at real people are not.
Use the right content rating
Authors must rate stories accurately. Mature or graphic material may be restricted, age-gated, excluded from advertising, or removed where it crosses platform or legal limits. Ratings are not a way to bypass rules that prohibit unlawful or exploitative content.
Respect ownership
Publish only material you created or have permission to use. Do not copy another writer's story, upload images without appropriate rights, impersonate creators, or remove attribution where attribution is required.
Be transparent about AI
Use the Human-written, AI-assisted, or AI-generated label that best describes the story. AI tools are allowed, but mass spam, deceptive impersonation, or flooding the service with repetitive low-value material may be limited or removed.
Keep community features usable
Comments and profiles must not be used for spam, scams, malware, repetitive promotion, harassment, or evading moderation. Coordinated manipulation of likes, follows, reports, or other engagement signals is not allowed.
Reports and moderation
Use report controls for content that appears to break these rules. NightTales may relabel, restrict, remove, or preserve material as needed for moderation, safety, legal obligations, and appeals. Repeated or serious violations can lead to account restrictions or termination.
